Communication Supports for People with Aphasia

Description

This course covers how Aphasia impacts communication. We dive into various communication support tools that help increase life participation. Learn strategies and functional ways to use communication supports with real life examples reported from users in the community. You will learn how to implement two communication supports in the Tobii Dynavox Aphasia Page Set to get started. This course is appropriate for anyone new to Aphasia, caregivers, professionals, and those with Aphasia.

Lauren is a Learning Consultant for Tobii Dynavox. Prior to joining the Learning Team, she was a Solutions Consultant for the West TN and North MS area. Lauren is also a Speech Language Pathologist with several years of experience treating communication impairments resulting from congenital, progressive, and acute impairments. She currently resides in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
