Creating a Shared Space for Communication with TD Snap Aphasia

Following the Aphasia content, learners are invited to stay for an optional 30-minute, interactive discussion with TD Funding Learning Program Manager, Kelsey Formica. During this time, Kelsey will discuss the Funding Coach program, answer questions from attendees, and provide guidance on report writing for funded AAC devices from trial to purchase, along with additional resources and support.

After successfully completing this course, learners will be able to…

• Describe how conversation functions as a cycle and why both comprehension and expression need support.
• Explain how communication supports promote participation and connection.
• Identify tools available within the TD Snap Aphasia page set that support understanding and expression during conversation.
