Engaging with Eye Gaze: Supporting Kids Using TD I-Series

Description

For children with disabilities that impact motoric functioning, eye gaze can be a foundational skill. It allows them to participate in their world, learn in the classroom, and build communication networks with family and friends. In this course we will explore eye gaze access, why it matters, and how to develop skills for success using TD I-Series. You will leave this session with an idea of where to start and how to begin teaching proficiency in eye gaze.

Upon successful completion, participants will be able to:

·      Describe two key points why eye gaze matters for children with access needs

·      List two software solutions to build eye gaze skills for children

·      State the three stages of the eye gaze developmental continuum.
