Please do the following:
- From the Windows Start Menu, select the Windows Settings Gear icon.
- Select Accounts.
- Note if whether it is a Microsoft account (complete to steps 4-5) or a local account (go to step 6).
- If it’s a Microsoft account, select Sign in with a local account instead.
- When prompted for a password, leave it blank.
- If it’s a local account, at left, select Sign-in options.
- Select Password.
- If you only see an Add button skip to step 17, otherwise select Change.
- Enter the Current password.
- Select Next.
- Leave the Password field blank.
- Leave the New password field blank.
- Leave the Confirm password field blank.
- Select Next.
- Select Finish.
- Close the Windows Settings window.
- Right click on the Windows Start Menu and select Run.
- In the Open box, type lusrmgr.msc (that is – all lowercase: lima, uniform, sierra, romeo, mike, golf, romeo,., mike, sierra, charlie).
- Select OK.
- In the left pane, select Users.
- In the middle pane, double click/tap the user account for the device, for example, ISeriesUser, TDG13-1907… ,etc.
- Ensure that there is a check in the box for Password never expires.
- If necessary, select Apply.
- Select OK.
- Close the lusrmgr window.

- In the left pane, under Computer Configuration, select the carrot mark > to the left of Administrative Templates.

- In the left pane, select Sleep Settings.
- Double click Require a password when a computer wakes (plugged in).
- Select the Disabled radio button.
- Select Apply.
- Select OK.
- Double click Require a password when a computer wakes (on battery).
- Select the Disabled radio button.
- Select Apply.
- Select OK.
- Close the Local Group Policy Editor window.
- Reboot the computer for the changes to take effect.
