How to create a You tube button for TD Snap version 1.36 or higher

TD Snap version 1.36 or higher can now create a button to play a video from You tube.

How to add a you tube video to a button

First go to the YouTube video that you want to add on the device and copy the URL. - if you are on an open device. go to a web browser, open the web site and navigate to a video of your choice. https://www.youtube.com/ Copy the URL at the top of the web page. If you are on a closed device, use another computer to do the programming. You can use the TD Snap app without speaking capabilities to do so.

Open TD Snap- Navigate to where you want to put the new button-

Edit (gear/pencil)- Select a button to edit-

Actions - delete the Speak or Insert Message action. -

Add Action- Search for YouTube and you will see the Play YouTube Video option to select. - Paste in the URL- You can also set what you want the video to do on completion, Close, play next or do nothing. You can also set a start and stop time to Clip the video. 

Select done to exit the menu.
