Request a PCS® symbol
Need a new PCS® (Picture Communication Symbol) for your communication solution, therapy practice, or classroom?
Use the form below to request a symbol to be added to the PCS library. Please complete all relevant fields—this helps us create the most accurate symbol possible. Be specific in your description. For example:
- “I would like a symbol for the new electric postal van in the UK.”
- “I would like the new ASL sign for Italy that traces the shape of the country’s boot.”
General or vague requests (e.g., “a car” or “a country”) don’t provide enough detail and may not be usable.
To help us process requests efficiently, please include up to five symbols per form submission. If you need more than five, simply submit an additional form. An image file must be included with each submission.
All requests are carefully reviewed and added to the PCS creation queue. New symbols are prioritized based on factors such as global demand. Once created, they’ll be included in a future PCS software update.
