Description

The journey to assess and encourage daily AAC use can be supported by the Tobii Dynavox ecosystem. This is a set of resources that will help you throughout the AAC assessment process and AAC use in daily life.  In this course, we will explore tools available to use during the assessment and funding process as well as throughout implementation. Explore and learn more about resources and support that are available no matter what stage you are currently at on your AAC journey.   

Upon successful completion, participants will be able to:   

 Describe 2 ways to identify someone appropriate for an AAC assessment 

Describe 3 resources available to support conducting an AAC assessment

Identify 3 resources to support funding an AAC device

Initially joining Tobii Dynavox as a Solutions Consultant, she worked directly with SLPs and their clients to explore assistive technology solutions. Now, as a Learning Consultant, her focus lies in developing and delivering trainings to empower communicators and their partners.
