If you have Compass on an I-Series device, can I also have a companion on an iPad or another windows computer?

If the device is an I-series+(plus) that has Compass installed by Tobiidynavox you are entitled to a companion app on an iPad or other Windows computer.

If the device is an I-Series classic or an I-Series + (plus) and you Purchased Compass as a perpetual app you are not entitled to a companion app.

How to access the Compass Companion App

For an IPad

 

  1. On the I-series device with Compass log into a Mytobiidynavox.com account. If you do not have one you can create one for free at www.mytobiidynavox.com
  2. On an iPad access the App store and search for Tobii Dynavox Compass.
  3. Select the Free Tobii Dynavox Compass Connect and install it
  4. Open the Compass App and log into the mytobiidynavox account from step 1.


For a Windows Computer
 
  1. On the I-series device with Compass log into a Mytobiidynavox.com account. If you do not have one you can create one for free at www.mytobiidynavox.com
  2. On a Windows computer that will be using the companion app, download the Free Compass companion for windows here. Or visit https://www.mytobiidynavox.com/Support/Compass.
  3. Once it is installed on your computer, launch it and log into the Mytobiidynavox.com account from step 1.
Note: If you have the PODD or Gateway page set included with your Compass purchase when you first connect to your mytobiidynavox.com account it will ask if you would like to share permissions. You should answer Yes if you want your companion to use the page set as well.
