How can I get my iPad to take a charge if it stopped charging in the TD Pilot?

If an iPad's charge gets too low, it may have difficulty taking a charge from the TD Pilot.  If the TD Pilot turns on but the iPad does not, please follow the steps below.

1. Plug the TD Pilot into a power source
2. Press and hold the power button on the TD Pilot until the logo "Tobii Dynavox" appears in the partner window
3. Immediately press and hold the track status button (the other button located on the back of the TD Pilot) for approximately 2 seconds.
4. Wake the iPad.
