To record multiple IR commands on one button, for the purpose of tuning to a 3 digit TV station (i.e., ESPN on channel 206).
- Launch C5.
- From the C5 Quick Menu, select Advanced Settings.
- Select System.
- Select My IR Remote Controls.
- If necessary, at left, select Add Remote Control.
- Give this control a name - i.e., Living Room TV.
- Select OK.
- At right, select Add Command.
- In the Namefield, enter the number 0.
- Select Record.
- Record the 0 button as per normal.
- Select Testto make sure it works.
- Select OK.
- Repeat steps 8 - 13 to record each of the other numbers 1 - 9.
- Select OK.
- Navigate to the desired page set where the 3 digit TV channel will be recorded.
- From the C5 Quick Menu, select Edit Page Set.
- Select the desired button.
- From the Buttonpull down menu, select Button Actions.
- Select the IRtab.
- Under Available actions select Send IR Command.
- Select Add.
- From the IR Remote Control drop down menu, select the desired device, i.e., Living Room TV.
- From the IR Command drop down menu, select the first digit number, i.e., the number 2.
- Select OK.
- Select the Miscellaneoustab.
- Under Available actions select Delay.
- Editthe Delay (seconds) to be 0.5 seconds.
- Select OK.
- Repeat steps 20 - 29 to complete the additional digits required. There is not a need to put a Delaycommand after the last digit of the channel number.
- Select OK.
- Save the page set, as per normal.
- From the Viewpull down menu, select Run.
