How do I remove TGIS and the eye tracking software from an I-12+ or I-15+?

There may be times in which a fresh installation of the Tobii Gaze Interaction Software (TGIS) is necessary.  Prior to reinstalling TGIS it is important to first completely remove it.  Before removing the software, please make sure to download the new installer and to plug in the device.

1. Open Windows Settings and choose Apps
2. Scroll down and uninstall the following software one at a time.  If you don't find one or more of the software listed below, that is fine.
   • Tobii Dynavox Gaze HID
   • Tobii Dynavox Gaze Interaction Software
   • Tobii EyeX
   • Tobii EyeX Config
   • Tobii EyeX Interaction
   • Tobii IS3 Eye Tracker Driver
   • Tobii Service
   • Unless there are problems with word prediction it is notnecessary to uninstall Tobii Dynavox Gaze Selection Language Packs
   • If Tobii Dynavox Gaze Point or Tobii Dynavox Gaze Viewer are installed, it is notnecessary to uninstall those.
3. Once the software have all been uninstalled, close Windows Setting
4. On the menubar where it says Type here to search, type %appdata% and hit Enter.  File Explorer should open.
5. Delete the Tobii folder
6. Double-click on the Tobii Dynavox folder
7. Delete the following folders
   • EyeAssist
   • Gaze Selection
8. Close the File Explorer window
9. On the menubar where it says Type here to search, type %programdata% and hit Enter.  File Explorer should open.
10. Delete the following folders
    • TetServer
    • Tobii
11. Double-click on the Tobii Dynavox folder
12. Delete the following folders
    • EyeAssist
    • Gaze Interaction
    • Gaze Selection
13. Close the File Explorer window.

Now Tobii Gaze Interaction Software is completely removed.  You may reinstall the Tobii Gaze Interaction Software Enterprise installer.
